This is the first time you get to see what your cake could look like!
I usually create 2 designs for you to choose between and send these through within a week of receiving the booking fee.
You can then pick which is your favourite (or ask me to make any adjustments - it's your cake after all!)

Usually around 6 months before your wedding, we will have your Design Consultation. These are currently being held online.
Before we chat, I will send you a tasting box of my Classic Range flavours (vanilla, chocolate, lemon and carrot) - this is included in the price of any orders over £350, You can also upgrade to the Choose Your Own option. You can check out my flavours here.
When we meet online, we will discuss your wedding theme, style,
venue and how your wedding cake can best compliment your vision for the day.
We will also discuss where your cake will be displayed and any additional styling ideas to make it look great on the day.
I recommend to all my couples that they have colour samples, flower and stationary ideas during the consultation.
Within a week of our consultation, I will send you a final design, this will include the final quote as well.
Please check these both carefully as this is what I will be working from when I come to create your beautiful wedding cake!

I will email you an order confirmation and invoice that includes all the details we have discussed and when the full payment is due (usually two weeks before the event - this can be paid in installments or sooner if it suits you). The booking fee will be deducted from the final balance.

The Design process is conducted one of two ways, depending on the event, complexity of the design and your preference.
Weddings, Large Celebrations and Corporate Events
Around 3- 6 months before your celebration, we will have your Design Consultation.
Before we chat, I will send you a tasting box of four flavours. These are sent out via Royal Mail First Class to ensure freshness at specific times during the year. To minimise wastage, I offer a list of flavours
to choose from included in any order over £350 and all Wedding Cake orders. You can
also upgrade to the Choose Your Own option to have any flavour inluded, check out my
flavours here.
When we meet online, we will discuss your theme, style, venue and how your cake can
best compliment your vision for the day and I will begin putting together a digital
sketch design as we talk, so that you can visualise what your cake will look like.
We will also discuss where your cake will be displayed and any additional styling ideas
to make it look great on the day. You do not want it tucked away in a corner!
Within a week of our consultation, I will send you a final design. You will then be able
to ask for any tweaks you might want me to make, so it absolutely fits your vision!
Consultations are currently still being held online for the time being.
Step 3. Finalising
As soon as you have the date confirmed, get in touch.
To ensure each customer and their cake gets my undivided attention -
I only take on one cake order a week, so it's vital you get in touch asap! Particularly if you have a peak season wedding or event.
Upon receiving your initial enquiry, I will then ask for details about the cake you would like. You might have a very clear idea of what you are looking for or you may just want the cake to be inspired by a favourite animal, your dress, where you met, the venue or your passion.
We will briefly discuss design ideas and I will provide you with a "Starting from..." initial quote.
You can secure your date with a non-refundable booking fee (approximately 25% of the initial quote).

Once you are happy with the final deisgn, I will send through a final invoice and order confirmation. This will detail everything about your cake; the flavour, size, and design, as well any additional options such as dessert tables, styling, cake stand hire etc. I always encourage my clients to check this over to ensure they are completely happy with the final decisions.
This will also include when final payment is to be made by. You can find out more about this in my T&Cs.
Next it's over to me to bring your incredible cake to life.
If you are having it delivered, I will be in contact with the venue directly to confirm times and setting up details.
And that's it! Now all you need to do is eat cake! Enjoy!
Smaller Celebrations
Once I have a clear idea of what you are looking for it is over to me to create a
digital design sketch based on what we have discussed. This is the first time
you get to see what your cake could look like!
